About The Role

Act as directed on all HSSE matters in Japan and associated project locations.
Provide first aid and acute pre-hospital care to project locations
Champion all HSSE related initiatives, plans, and campaigns.
Liaise with client and / or internal departments regarding HSSE matters.
Develop project related HSSE risk assessment, plans and procedures.
Improve workforce HSSE awareness.
Advise management of any HSSE deficiencies and assist with improvement plans.
Perform incident investigation and reporting.
Participate in management, HSSE, and project meetings.
Review and advise management on client and other contractual HSSE requirements.
Participate in HSSE external audits and perform internal audits.
Site inspections.

Working with and supporting internal and external customers on all HSSE matters to enable compliance with Japan's legislation, Company management systems, and client requirements.

About You

University degree in engineering discipline or equivalent in appropriate discipline; and
5 years' relevant post-qualification experience, including experience in a key position on site for supervision or construction of works of similar nature as the works under the contract; and
A good team player with excellent influencing, project management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent in spoken and written Japanese and English.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
