CRCC Asia has been in operation for 20 years, partners with 65+ universities and governmental bodies globally, and has sent 11,000+ students abroad through its award-winning internship programs. Our internship programs take place across a variety of dynamic sectors, including business, finance, engineering, health sciences, and much more.
ROLE SUMMARY:
This is a student-facing, on-site role focused on supporting international students and interns during their programs in Tokyo. The position involves day-to-day participant support, local coordination, cultural guidance and operational assistance to ensure a safe enriching and well-organized experience for students in Japan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program & Event Coordination:
Support the Tokyo team in planning and implementing the program calendar consisting of business, cultural and volunteer activities aimed at enriching participants' understanding of Japanese society, culture, and business
- Arrivals & Orientation: Assist the team in coordinating
student arrivals, airport pick-ups
- Student Support & Welfare:
Provide day-to-day to international students in Tokyo, including cultural adjustment, emergency assistance and general wellbeing care.
- On-Site Program Operations:
Support day-to-day program operations during internship programs, including event execution, logistics coordination, and issue resolution.
- Program Quality & Oversight:
Work under the General Manager's supervision to ensure programs meet the requirements of both standard and customised offerings.
- Operations & Reporting:
Maintain accurate student records such as, incident reports and event documentation in the CRM system.
EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent in
Japanese (N1 or native)
and English. - Current students or recent graduates interested in international education, cultural exchange, or internship programs are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with the Tokyo metropolitan area
is essential - Previous experience in study abroad programs, customer service, program or event management or related fields is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with CRCC Asia's business model, company culture, and internship programs is an advantage.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations, able to handle unexpected challenges, and provide on-site support
- Experience with
conflict resolution, mediation or emergency support - Outgoing personality, genuine care for the well-being and success of the participant
