Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned quality engineer to test our "fan base" mobile application and platform service for our flagship hardware. We need your skills, knowledge, and experiences to execute quality assurance project.
Responsibilities:
- Write Android test automation using UI Automator (or Appium).
- Perform code coverage analysis.
- Perform testing Android app manually when needed.
- Write and run test cases.
- Gather test results and summarize in to the report.
- Collaborate with other QA engineers, developers, project manager, product manager, XD/UX and other team members to execute projects.
Requirements
5+ years of formal software testing experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDL).
Ability to write test automation using UI Automator (or Appium).
Ability to perform code coverage analysis using Android Studio.
Ability to collect logs from the device.
Knowledge of Google Android on variety of Android hardware.
High level of communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to communicate in Japanese.
Nice to Haves:
Ability to code in Kotlin is desirable but not a requirement.
Experience and knowledge of Firebase is definitely a plus, but not required.
Experience and knowledge of Source Labs is definitely a plus, but not required.
Experience and knowledge of AWS is definitely a plus, but not required.
Security testing experience is definitely a plus, but not required.
Ability to work with different time zones (Japan, India, US West Coast).
