Elementary / Middle School Teacher:
Designing and following a complete teaching plan
Teaching IPC & IMYC curriculum along with personal, social and emotional skills
Organizing learning material and resources
Collaborating with other teachers and administrators


We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children.

Teaching at Hope includes planning, implementing and assessing lessons. You will need to teach children with patience and creativity.

Teacher duties include designing a teaching plan and using activities and effective instructional methods to motivate children in the life-long learning process.


Qualification and Requirement:

  • BA in Education (or other related degree)
  • Teaching qualifications
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience in International Curricular would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working with students whom English is not their first language
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, age and ethnic background
  • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
  • References, Medical check, Criminal background check

Responsibilities:
Design and follow a complete teaching plan
Organize learning material and resources
Use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children's abilities
Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis
Nurture collaboration and international mindedness
Cooperate with administration staff
Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations

Requirements
Proven working experience as a teacher or teacher assistant
Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
Creative and artistic teaching abilities
Teaching and organisation skills & classroom management skills
Patience and flexibility
Strong communication skills
Keep abreast with the latest trends and best practices
BSc degree in education or relevant license/certificate
