QIAGEN is a German provider of sample and assay technologies for molecular diagnostics, applied testing, academic and pharmaceutical research. Consolidated under the Dutch holding QIAGEN N.V., the company operates more than 35 offices in over 25 countries.
You will take on the role of Senior Accountant in the Accounting Team. The team consists of three members: a Manager, a Senior Accountant, and an Accountant.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Contributing to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks as well as by reviewing and supporting junior team members
- Prioritize daily work load to meet department and corporate goals; understand overall business goals and how Accounting supports these goals
- Participation in closing procedures
- Document department processes and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement
- Maintain General Ledger (SAP)
- Liaise with representatives from other departments with respect to upcoming issues
- Participation in projects
- Other tasks related to financial matter required by manager.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5+ years' accounting experience including tax filing experience (with at least 3 years' experience at a multinational company)
- Business-level English skills
- Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Candidates with managerial experience or holding a CPA are preferred.
