Description

HOPPA is seeking enthusiastic and fun-loving English educators to join our growing teaching team. Our pre-schools are spread across various locations in Japan, particularly in Tokyo. We are in need of full-time instructors for multiple schools within Tokyo to teach English to children aged 0 to 5, and to support Japanese staff with daily school tasks. While proficiency in Japanese is not mandatory, it is a bonus. We are specifically looking for teachers who adore working with young children, as the little ones may require extra care such as assistance with hygiene routines.

Key Requirements:

- Current residency in Japan
- Fluency in English with clear pronunciation
- Hold a Specialist in Humanities, Spousal, Long Term Residence, or Permanent Residence visa
- Experience in teaching English to preschoolers (training provided for those eager to learn our methods)

The preschools operate from Monday to Saturday, with English classes scheduled only from Monday to Friday, allowing English teachers to enjoy their weekends off unless there are special events or training sessions.

*Full-time teaching role on a one-year contract, extendable annually. Exceptional performance may lead to permanent employment within a year, offering long-term career prospects.*

Minimum Salary: ¥235,000 / Maximum Salary: ¥245,000 (Potential annual salary increments based on performance)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 or 8:30 to 17:30 (includes a 1-hour break)

Days Off: Saturdays, Sundays, plus most public holidays; 10 paid public holidays granted after 6 months of employment, with an additional day added each subsequent year.
