Our Mission
- We work closely with the Valeo Lighting Systems R&D team to provide customer interface for engineering matters, including software, hardware, or mechanical projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead projects as an interface between customers and production site project teams.
- Establish close relationships with customers to share key points at each site.
- Explain engineering recommendations for smooth project execution.
- Advise production sites on preparation for Japanese customer events.
Key Activities
- Verify software and hardware, conduct design reviews with Japan-OEMs, prepare for reviews, and manage progress.
- Present documents effectively to customers in Japanese.
- Support and represent software and hardware matters in front of customers from RFQ to project completion.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or software-related fields.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of system experience in electronics & systems in the automotive industry, with lighting experience preferred but not required.
C programming is mandatory, and experience developing on STM32/NXP series platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with communication methods such as LIN, CAN.
System setup and test skills or experience: multimeter, oscilloscope, MCU flashing, LIN/CAN communication tools.
Good communication skills with Valeo development sites, especially with the China Foshan development team.
Understanding of business customs in Japan.
Languages: Japanese (native speaker), English or Chinese (business level).
Work Style: Work primarily at the office 2 days a week.
The team consists of diverse members from France, China, and Japan.
