A global organization is seeking a senior HR leader to oversee the Japan HRGA function. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, partnering closely with local management and global HR teams to support business growth and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HRGA operations including HR business partnering, talent acquisition, talent development, and employee relations

  • Act as a strategic advisor to Japan leadership while aligning local HR initiatives with global frameworks

  • Drive workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and organizational design

  • Oversee HR processes, systems, and compliance, ensuring consistency and scalability

  • Support change management, culture initiatives, and cross-border projects



Requirements

  • Extensive experience in HR leadership or senior HRBP roles within multinational environments

  • Broad HR expertise across TA, TD, performance management, and labor relations

  • Strong understanding of Japan labor practices and ability to operate in matrix organizations

  • Business-level English and native-level Japanese communication skills

  • Strategic yet hands-on mindset with strong stakeholder management capability
