Freelance Tour Host – Hiroshima (Guydeez)About the Role

Do you have a passion for Hiroshima's rich history, vibrant culture, and iconic landmarks? Guydeez is seeking enthusiastic locals to lead private, personalized walking tours for small groups of international travelers. No professional guiding license is required — just a love for your city and the ability to inspire and engage visitors.

Language Requirements

Fluency in at least one of the following:

• Spanish

• Chinese
• Italian
• Portuguese

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging walking tours tailored to guests' interests
• Share meaningful stories and insider knowledge about Hiroshima's history, culture, and key sites
• Create warm, memorable experiences for travelers
• (Optional) Host food-focused tours for guests interested in local cuisine

Position Details

• Location: Hiroshima, Japan
• Pay: 22,000 JPY/day + performance bonuses
• Schedule: Flexible — typically 2–8 hours/day
• Contract Type: Freelance (no fixed contract period or retirement age)

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Hiroshima's culture, history, and landmarks
• Fluency in at least one required language
• Friendly, engaging personality
• Prior guiding or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
• Interest in food tours is an advantage

Work Schedule & Style

• Fully flexible — choose your working days and hours
• Typical tour duration: 3–8 hours per day
• Overtime not required — work as much or as little as you like
• In-person walking tours; administrative tasks such as scheduling, communication, and training may be done remotely
