About the Company:
Flow Solution by GL events is looking for experienced Lead A-Technicians to support the delivery and operation of temporary power and HVAC systems for the Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026 in Japan.
This is a hands-on leadership role on site, responsible for supervising technical teams, ensuring safe installations, maintaining operational performance, and supporting event-time power and HVAC reliability.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Operations
Lead and supervise a Temporary Power & HVAC technical team onsite
Ensure installation, commissioning, and event operations handover meet agreed schedules
Maintain high operational standards with a strong focus on efficiency and reliability
Installation & Technical Operations
Install and operate temporary power and HVAC systems, including:
Diesel Generators
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
LV Main Distribution Boards
Sub-level distribution boards and cabling
Ensure all installations comply with drawings, standards, and technical guidelines
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform planned and preventive maintenance on all power generation and distribution equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve power and HVAC issues in line with the client's issue resolution matrix
Ensure all equipment remains fully operational throughout the event period
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all safety protocols, procedures, and processes are strictly followed onsite
Ensure calibration of tools and equipment
Complete all required inspection, testing, commissioning, and sign-off documentation
Communication & Coordination
Liaise closely with the Venue Power & HVAC Manager to ensure equipment, tools, and resources are available onsite
Support reporting and documentation during installation and event operations
Qualifications:
10+ years international experience in temporary power and HVAC for global mega-events (Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Commonwealth Games, etc.)
Expert knowledge of temporary power & HVAC systems for events
Proven leadership skills managing operational and technical teams
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
Excellent organizational skills with a strong safety mindset
High level of professionalism, collaboration, and customer focus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High emotional intelligence to work within multicultural and multinational teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining high standards
Fluent in English (Japanese is a strong advantage)
Proficiency in MS Office
Valid international driving license
