TGRC, a recognized leader in renewable energy recruitment, is seeking an experienced WTG Commissioning Engineer for a prestigious onshore wind project in Hiroshima. This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about renewable energy and possesses deep technical expertise in wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning activities for wind turbine generators (WTGs) ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Conduct system tests, calibrations, and adjustments to optimize the performance and reliability of WTGs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of commissioning tasks.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase.
- Uphold strict safety and quality standards, documenting all procedures and outcomes comprehensively.
- Provide technical support and training to local maintenance teams post-commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in commissioning WTGs, particularly within the onshore wind sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems of wind turbines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills and the capability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
This contract offers a competitive hourly rate of $60 and will extend for a period of 12 months, with potential opportunities for future engagements based on performance.
