A global apparel company operating in Japan, it manages the design, sales, and retail of internationally renowned fashion brands.
Your new role
· Act as the local project manager for SAP Ariba implementation in Japan, reporting to the IT Director.
· Manage system integration between internal IT systems and vendor-side connections.
· Serve as the liaison between Japanese vendors and APAC IT teams, ensuring seamless communication (Japanese English).
· Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and project go-live activities.
· Develop and translate operational manuals, training materials, and user guidance into Japanese for local employees.
· Provide vendor onboarding support and guidance for suppliers using the new procurement system.
· Capture and relay feedback from Japanese vendors to APAC IT teams.
· Deliver Ariba system support to local users, offering bilingual assistance in Japanese and English.
What you'll need to succeed
· Proven experience as a Project Manager or IT Consultant in SAP Ariba implementation.
· Strong knowledge of procurement processes and system integration.
· Excellent Japanese language skills (Fluent) and strong English communication skills.
· Ability to prepare and deliver clear operational documentation and training in Japanese.
· Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of coordinating across Japan, APAC, and vendor organizations.
· Familiarity with UAT management and system rollout support.
