This role is ideal for someone who can act as a technical bridge between Japanese onsite teams and offshore development members, leveraging deep expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and embedded systems.

You'll play a key role in model development, simulation, validation, and integration within automotive or electronics-related projects.


Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical liaison between the onsite Japanese engineering team and offshore development team.
• Design, develop, and validate control models using MATLAB/Simulink and related toolboxes.
• Conduct modeling based on software specifications (low-level design documents).
• Ensure models comply with style guidelines (e.g., MAAB) and update them according to static analysis reports.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases (test vectors) for both unit and integrated models to achieve full test coverage.
• Execute test cases, analyze test results, and resolve issues to ensure models pass all validation checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize models within the overall system.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and progress reporting.
• Continuously learn and implement process improvements and new technologies related to MBD.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years' experience in Model-Based Design (MBD) within automotive or electronics domains.
• Hands on experience in MATLAB and related Simulink toolboxes, such as State flow, Simulink Design Verifier, Simulink Check, Simulink Test, Simulink Coverage, Model Advisor, MATLAB Report Generator, Simulink Report Generator
• Hands-on knowledge of Embedded C programming.
• Experience with simulation, code generation, and testing in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR standards and related workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese (business/JLPT N2) and English (business level).
• Proven ability to coordinate between onsite and offshore teams effectively.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical, Electronics, Control, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Domestic travels are expected
