Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. As an Azure Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Storage, API Management, Azure Network Monitoring, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. In this role, you will be responsible for the replication of our EPC-Hub solution for each new project, including necessary customization and changes to the overall architecture in the cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure components such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Storage, and API Management.
- Develop and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to facilitate the movement and transformation of data across different systems.
- Manage and optimize Azure Storage solutions, ensuring data availability, durability, and performance.
- Configure and maintain API Management services to enable efficient API governance, security, and monitoring.
- Implement and manage Azure Network Monitoring solutions to ensure the availability and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any infrastructure-related issues or incidents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges related to the project replication, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Implement and adhere to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Azure cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Customize and modify the overall architecture based on project-specific requirements and cloud best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure cloud technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, such as Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect), are highly desirable.
- Must have 5-8 years of experience in Cloud DevOps space.
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure, specifically with Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Storage, API Management, and Azure Network Monitoring.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
- Experience with implementing monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of security and compliance considerations in cloud environments
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and load balancers in Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of basic Japanese language is a plus.
- EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) domain knowledge is a plus.
