Cosmopolitan Village is not an English conversation school, but a company that offers a "reverse homestay" program, in which teachers visit the homes of their students and spend a pleasant time together.
Even if you are in Japan, there are not many opportunities to visit a typical Japanese family home. Working for Cosmopolitan Village offers many opportunities to experience real Japanese culture; not just things see or hear somewhere else, but things you can feel in a Japanese home.
Specific job duties include:
★English lessons at the student's home: Of course, you don't have to be fluent in Japanese. The concept of Cosmopolitan Village is to provide students with a fully-English speaking environment. Our English lessons are not taught by just using a textbook. Students and teachers often go to the park together, cook together, go cherry blossom viewing in Spring, and do many other fun activities that create a natural learning environment Cosmopolitan Village's teaching style is to have the whole family learn English while still having a fun time together.
Lessons are largely conducted as natural style 'light course' lessons, which aim to create a fun and exciting English speaking environment by playing games or other activities. We also provide curriculum lessons using tailor-made curriculum created in-house, and textbook style lessons.
We are currently looking for teachers in the Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto and Hyogo areas.
Osaka: Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Tennoji, Kyobashi, Nishikujyo, Toyonaka, Suita, Sakai, Higashi-osaka, Moriguchi, Hirakata and more.
Hyogo: Kobe, Amagasaki, Nishinomiya, Sannomiya, Takarazuka, Akashi, Himeji
Kyoto: Kyoto-shi
Nara: Ikoma, Ouji and other areas nearby
