- Responsible for PAS developments including governance of vendors to deliver solutions
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for PAS developments from end-to-end including support IT/ST/UAT as needed
- Contribute to PAS transformation program in Japan and work with architecture team to conclude on best-fit solution
- Provide guidance to other development team members as needed
- Communicate and guide vendor development team to ensure the direction and delivery quality

Required Skills and Experiences
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Science Degree – Computer Science or related field
Specific Qualifications
- Japanese language: N3 & above. English business fluency
Total Experience
- Experience:
- 8+ years IT delivery experience
- Tier 1 insurance carrier transformation experience, preferred
- Familiar with commonly used insurance system packages, preferred - Insurance Knowledge:
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance product definition, rating engine, underwriting rules, regulatory reporting - Technical Skills:
- Modern IT architecture skills and familiar with Open API framework
- Mastery in NodeJS, JavaScript and Angular UI/UX framework
- Mastery in relational DB, J2EE framework - Leadership:
- Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well with excellent coaching skills. - Collaboration:
- Ability to operate and have credibility with business partners
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability for productive collaboration across varying departments. Comfortable building relationships, internally and externally - Passionate and mindset:
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient with growth-mindset
- Comfortable in voicing his/her opinion and representing the viewpoints of others in a productive manner
