This part-time contract role is ideal for a creative videographer and content creator passionate about capturing the vibrant culture of Tokyo and producing engaging visuals for social media.

You will be responsible for visiting client locations 1–2 days per week, filming and photographing on-site, and ensuring content is tailored to attract foreign tourists and expats.

Collaboration with a remote team and a keen understanding of current visual trends are essential for success in this role.

Deliverables

Capture high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) and still images at various Tokyo locations
Edit or coordinate editing of footage for use on social media and digital advertising
Deliver polished, engaging content that aligns with the latest visual trends and platform requirements
Provide a portfolio of relevant lifestyle or business content
Ensure all deliverables meet brand and client expectations for style and messaging

Requirements

Proven experience in videography and content creation, with a strong portfolio of lifestyle or business work
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Deep understanding of social video platforms, trends, and best practices
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with a remote team
English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are a plus
