Job Title: Director, Retail – APACAbout the Opportunity:
You will lead our store teams, regional leadership and retail support functions to deliver best in class industry results. Your partnership with in-region cross-functional teams, HQ teams, regional counterparts, and the leadership of your retail team will ensure your plan is executed fully and on time.

The APAC Commercial team is accountable for delivering sales through all regional channels. We meet the guest where they are shopping and ensure Arc'teryx is represented consistently and at its best. As the retail landscape changes, we will work together to evolve our approach with creativity and teamwork, ultimately resulting in a seamless Arc'teryx experience in store, that will culminate with near-perfect, full-price sell through.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Leading APAC store and regional teams and build, coach and develop best-in-industry retail culture and performance
• Owning responsibility for the APAC Retail P&L and performance or outperformance of key retail KPIs
• Influencing global strategy by representing the APAC retail business
• Setting the APAC Retail strategy in sync with the APAC Commercial Strategy including market plans, new store growth
• Working with other channel leaders in APAC to create a cohesive omnichannel guest experience and create the collective commercial goals of APAC
• Influencing new site locations for future stores in market including sales proformas and store designs
• You are accountable for knowing the store and markets intimately knowing key trends to set sales plans and growth targets
• Strengthening our brand equity by ensuring that the retail strategy is aligned with Arc’teryx values, purpose, consumer promise, and the company’s long-term objectives
• Leading the cross-functional support and enablement functions of brand, finance, IS, People & Culture, product, allocation, distribution and transportation, to deliver value to the APAC retail business
• Developing a deep pipeline of leaders ready to support growth in APAC and globally
• Bringing people best practices to the retail space and partner with key stakeholders to create a world-class retail employee experience

About You:
• You have 10+ years' experience leading cross-functional and integrated commercial/marketing/retail teams in a global apparel company
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Business or other related fields
• You have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing professionals
• You have a strong awareness of the Arc’teryx brand, product, and consumer
• You have a strong understanding of the outdoor apparel and lifestyle industries and you understand the retail landscape, including the latest trends and innovations
• You have Profit and Loss (P&L) ownership experience
• You have excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and a track record of strategic planning
• You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
• You are able to travel regionally or internationally, as required
• You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
• You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
• You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
• You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
• You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
