Description
The Osaka Branch of Interac Kansai & South Central Company is seeking applications for Part Time Elementary School Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions in Ashiya City, Hyogo starting in April 2024.
Working times and days for these positions are one of the following:
1. Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 12:30
2. Tuesday to Friday, 08:30 to 12:30
ALTs are the face of the global community in Japanese schools and have an important role in helping and supporting students to broaden their horizons and develop international understanding. ALTs are also role models in the wider school community. If you are a committed teacher with a strong drive to help students achieve their goals, a position with Interac may be for you.
As an ALT with Osaka Branch, you will teach in public elementary schools and become an essential part of your school and the local community. Your job as an ALT is two-fold: language instructor and cultural ambassador. We are looking for candidates who are positive, professional, and have a love of international communication.
Requirements:
★ You must have a valid Japanese visa allowing you to work part time
★ You must currently live in Japan
★ You must be a native-level speaker of English
★ You must have graduated from a university with at least a bachelor's degree
★ You must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
★ You must be a team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
Training
Interac has a paid, comprehensive initial and ongoing training program to support and develop all ALTs.
Remuneration
The hourly wage is 2,300 yen.
Transportation is fully compensated.
About Interac
Founded in 1972, Interac is Japan's largest private provider of professional foreign teachers to the Japanese government through its ALT program. Interac began as a provider of corporate educational services but from the mid-nineties, we began providing ALTs and education-related services to Boards of Education across Japan. In April 2014, Interac became part of the Link and Motivation Group which has a range of interests and subsidiaries in the business consultancy, education, recruiting, and hospitality sectors in Japan.
