Infrastructure Architect - Tokyo
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT architect to join our team. As an IT architect, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including providing proposals to customers, evaluating current systems and analyzing gaps, designing and proposing optimal infrastructure solutions, creation and review of project proposals, conducting technical discussions and workshops for clients, providing advice on cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and presenting and explaining technical recommendations to clients.
Project Implementation Phase
You will lead the construction of systems using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc., lead the design and management of cloud-native applications, lead the creation and updating of technical documentation, lead troubleshooting and problem resolution, and manage project progress and coordinate with stakeholders.
Operations and Maintenance
You will gather feedback from customers and internal staff and propose improvements, provide guidance on troubleshooting and problem solving, standardize infrastructure work, update and maintain standardized architects, gather new technologies and disseminate them to members, create a menu of infrastructure services, create and maintain service catalogs, and improve quality and efficiency of service delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, servers, storage, or security, in-depth knowledge and working experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.), experience managing Linux and Windows servers, project experience in SI (System Integration) company, ability to explain difficult technical terms to customers in an easy-to-understand manner, ability to communicate well with team members, and experience using offshore (overseas) teams. The candidate should also have advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Language and Education
Japanese native level is required, but English proficiency is not required. No academic background is required.
Estimated Salary: ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000 per year
