Job Location: Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan - Urasoe, Okinawa, Japan

Position Title: CMM

Area of Requirement: Naval Hospital Okinawa 

Scope:

Single point of contact with full authority over daily O&M activities for all Okinawa MTFs.

Duties:

• Leads contract performance across seven MTF sites (Camp Kinser hub, Camps Foster, Courtney, Hansen, Schwab, Torii Station, and MCAS Futenma).
• Manages diversified workforce, subcontractors, and resources for facility O&M.
• Ensures compliance with NFPA, TJC, OSHA, UFC, host-nation codes, and JEGS.
• Available 24/7/365 with onsite presence during duty hours and 2-hour response after hours.
• Provides guidance during emergencies and prepares performance and compliance reports.

Mandatory Experience & Certifications:

• Three years' experience in healthcare facility operations and maintenance.
• Five years' experience supervising O&M of commercial facilities and infrastructure systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA, TJC, EPA, OSHA, UFC, and Japanese regulatory codes.

Preferred / Desirable Certifications:

• ASHE CHFM certification (desirable).
• PMP or equivalent facility management certification.

Language Proficiency:

• English – Level III proficiency (advanced).
• Japanese –Level III proficiency Speak, Write and Understand Japanese

Special Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
