External Description:

• --Responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing financial data to account for financial transactions and / or make financial
  assessments. This includes but is not limited to: income, expenses, operating cost, rate of return, working capital, investments, and
  budget balance. and variance analysis. Determines rationale for identified variances.
• --Assesses viability, stability, and profitability of the enterprise, business unit, and / or assigned projects and programs
• --Prepares financial plans and monitors business performance against plan by unit, division or brand.
• --Preparations and presents financial analysis and recommendations to finance and business unit leadership in order to support
  informed business decision-making.
• --Preparations short and long-term profit / loss forecasts to facilitate management review of capital appropriations, business strategies,
  product line changes, etc.
• --Partners and provides support to internal client-facing Finance Analysts to effectively manage the business and maximize
  profitability. 
• --Preparations financial statements, schedules and reports for internal and external use.
• --Responsible for the adherence to and communication of applicable regulatory and operational policies, requirements, and
  procedures.
• --May design, develop, install, and / or maintain operational specifications for financial information systems, considering such things
  as information requirements and reporting capability.
• --Partnering with shared services center in Malaysia to assure accuracy of data
• --Communication with HQ reporting regarding deadlines and requirements for budget, trimester reporting and year-end review

• • --Interpreting Data: Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • --Communicating Financial Information: Effectively communicating and presenting complex financial data (both verbally and written)
    to influence all levels and global audiences; helps others understand financial data and translate it into actionable business
    insights.
  • --Financial Knowledge: Understanding of general financial principles, accounting and working knowledge of GAAP, and how to apply
    these principles.
  • --Excel: ability to create pivot table and use v-lookup; intermediate macro
  • --Report creation (data preparation & digesting to synthesize it to action points and recommendations, design for adequate
    presentation to executives)
