The Fixed Income team manages over $800 billion for institutions, high net worth individuals and mutual fund investors. Our global investment process is coordinated across geographic regions with representation in New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and China. Responsibilities:

  • Servicing existing client base, regular client engagement and initiating and driving new business initiatives, working within a global team structure
  • Drive new business opportunities, liaising with product development and sales, completion of request-for-proposal documentation in addition to providing broad support to Sales and Client Relationship Management teams
  • Synthesize and communicate investment philosophy, process, product positioning and current market trends to current and prospective clients
  • Communicate to prospective and existing clients related to investment performance, portfolio exposures, concentrations, and manager developments
  • Coordination and creation of ongoing client deliverables as well as new business development activities
  • Assist with the creation of product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on Fixed Income services, products and performance

Qualifications:

  • Native level communication skills in Japanese language
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Strong knowledge of buy-side fixed income portfolio management
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate with broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment collaborating across time-zones
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Bloomberg
