Scope

  • Location
    : Based in

    on a long-term assignment.

    : Full-time role consisting of
    40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Cycle Procurement
    : Manages end-to-end procurement for
    engineering, construction, and technical equipment packages
    .
  • Bidding & Evaluation
    : Prepares and issues RFQs and RFPs; performs both
    technical and commercial bid evaluations
    to support contract awards.
  • Negotiation
    : Handles contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with various suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    : Interfaces with engineering, expediting, logistics, and construction teams to ensure
    on-time delivery
    .
  • Contract Management
    : Monitors supplier performance and manages project claims, variations, and contractual issues.
  • Compliance
    : Ensures all activities align with project specifications, quality standards, and
    INCOTERMS
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of
    10+ years of experience
    in procurement within the EPC, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong background in
    international procurement
    and supplier management.
  • Professional working proficiency in
    English
    is required.
  • Japanese
    language skills are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
  • Technical Skills
    : Deep understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, and analytical cost tracking.
