The Senior Operations Manager is leading Amazon Japan Stores Customer Service (ASCS) operations for Japan.

This role is leading our customer service sites in Japan as well as our Virtual Customer Service (VCS) team, and responsible for all key performance indicators such as safety, customer experience, quality, productivity and cost of our Japan operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate should have best in class leadership experience of at least 10+ years.
  • They should have a proven track record of success in multisite Customer Service Centre environments, leading large teams
  • The candidate should have a proven track record of driving customercentric KPIs.
  • They have a highly collaborative approach and is successful in managing remote locations.
  • Fluent and effective Japanese and English verbal and written communication skills are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in continuous improvement culture and methodology (e.g. lean, six sigma, kaizen).
  • Through an easy grasp of metrics and quantitative analysis, the candidate should be able turn data into actionable programs.
