Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Principal Engineer - Japanese, located in Tokyo. The role involves designing and developing innovative engineering solutions, leading technical teams, and driving key projects to completion. The Principal Engineer will oversee system architecture, establish technical visions, and ensure project deliverables meet quality and performance standards. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated with industry trends are integral parts of the role.

Salary: 10 million - 15 million JPY Per Annum
Language: Japanese or JLPT N1 & N2 holder
Joining Date: ASAP
Work Type: On-site
Experience Required: 5+ years experience as Principal Engineer.

Job Description:
* Deep expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) architecture, extensions, accelerators, and backoffice.
* Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, SOLR search, caching layers, and microservices architecture.
* Experience integrating SAP Commerce with SAP ERP/S4HANA, CRM, OMS, payment systems, and third-party APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, , ).
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and scalable deployment patterns.
