Responsibilities:
- Manage yield, cost, and front-end/back-end processes for semiconductor laser products (DFB lasers and electro-absorption modulator integrated lasers).
- Plan and drive projects aimed at yield improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement for semiconductor laser products.
- Improve product characteristics, drive process improvements, and perform defect analysis.
Expected Background:
- BSc, MSc, PhD degree in electronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a related equivalent technical field.
- Bachelors and 6+ years of work experience, Masters and 4+ years of work experience. PhD. no relevant work experiences.
Expected Skill:
- Experience in semiconductor device design and development, including performance evaluation, yield improvement, and cost reduction design.
- Experience with optical devices (e.g., DFB lasers, electro-absorption modulator integrated lasers) is a plus but not required.
- Skills in database management and statistical analysis using software.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English skills, including participation in online meetings, email communications, and technical documentation.
