You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your procurement, carrier + relationship management expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence. Your primary objective will be to drive our capacity + pricing procurement efforts. You will ensure that Carrier Management + gateway volume drives complement each other, remaining a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining customers. You will need to liaise with internal + external stakeholders while aligning the interests of each with our key objectives.
  • To lay out a procurement plan for assigned area of responsibility, aligning the same with larger initiatives on a Regional/Global level.
  • To evaluate current carrier share for key trade lanes, recommending optimization measures to maximize core carrier share.
  • To evaluate opportunities to consolidate current volumes to achieve better yields to help optimize the achievable net rate (ANR), laying the foundation for future business development opportunities.
  • To engage with overseas counterparts in the promotion of two-way carrier deals, helping to create efficiencies in our long term procurement efforts.
  • To evaluate carrier metrics + ensure volume allocations are in line with targets to support the success of the preferred carrier program (PCP).
  • To monitor + push for maximization of volumes via our Gateways, to achieve better consol benefits as well as supporting cost management.

  • Your strong negotiation skills + knowledge of carrier management, along with your stakeholder relationships will be the key to your success.
