Department Overview
The Leisure Product Department is handling a lineup of lifestyle and leisure related services, some of them being category leaders in the Japanese market.
In the Dream Product Section, we are in charge of Rakuten Keiba, and Rakuten Kdreams, Rakuten toto, where we develop and operate online betting services.
Rakuten Keiba:
Online betting site for local horse racing.
Rakuten Kdreams:
Online betting site for cycle racing.
Rakuten toto and Lottery:
Online purchasing site for toto, WINNER, and lottery tickets.
These Dream products have AI prediction service that user can easy to bet and fun.
In addition, Dream Products contribute to government-controlled competitive sports.
Their profits are used to improve local finances and to give back to and contribute to society in various ways, making a significant contribution to local governments through the development of public facilities such as schools and roads, and social welfare.

Position Details
As a product manager for one of the dream products (Rakuten Keiba, Rakuten Kdreams, Rakuten toto), will be responsible for product construction and execution (project management) to provide new experiences to users and solve various problems that users have through various analyzes.
While logically creating the concept of "what the product should be" and "what the user really wants" using data, and in collaboration with engineers and QA, everything from actual development to release Process is the scope of business.
This position offers the opportunity to be involved in building impactful products that can change the industry by creating new features and added value for existing products.
Providing market/competitive analysis
Developing product strategy and KPI
Building documentation and roadmap
System requirements definition
Project management
Trouble management (bug triage)
Release judgment
Various reporting tasks
Work Environment
Young members in their late 20s to 30s, from various countries and different cultural backgrounds.

Mandatory Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a project leader or project manager for web application
Knowledge of system development especially the upper process (PRD and Specification)
Communication skills to negotiate and coordinate with other departments and external parties
Japanese language ability sufficient for business conversation
TOEIC Score 800 above or possess equivalent abilities (If you do not have a score, you can take the test for free during the selection process)
Desired Qualifications
Experience in managing the team with more than 5 people as a project manager
Experience in system development (regardless of language)
Experience in building product strategies
PM/SE experience at SIer
