Japan Market & Operations Manager
Position Overview
The Japan Market & Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing overall offline and online operations in Japan, centered around HAKA's flagship store.
This role is not limited to store management, but is a hands-on, market-level operations role responsible for executing and managing day-to-day operations in the Japanese market.
This position serves as a key point of coordination between the Korea headquarters and on-site operations in Japan.Based on the operation of the flagship store, the role covers store management, online store operations, local administrative and operational tasks, as well as communication with local partners and external vendors.
In addition, the role includes contributing to the development of operational standards and processes in preparation for future expansion of retail channels and distribution partners in Japan.
This position requires strong on-site execution capabilities and effective cross-border communication skills.Key Responsibilities
Flagship Store Operations in Japan
Manage daily store operations, including sales, inventory, and staff management
Maintain customer service quality and address on-site operational issues
Online Store Operations
Operate and manage the company's online store or third-party e-commerce platforms
Analyze sales data and plan and execute promotions
Coordination Between Korea HQ and Japan Operations
Collaborate on products, schedules, and operational matters
Conduct reporting and coordination in both Korean and Japanese
Execution of Japan Market Operations
Monitor local consumer response and market data
Propose and implement operational improvements across offline and online channels
Management of Local Partners and Vendors
Coordinate with logistics, store operations, and marketing partners
Manage schedules and ongoing communication
Administrative and Operational Support
Handle basic administrative tasks and documentation related to store operations
Support lease management, tax, labor, and licensing-related matters in Japan
Provide first-line responses to contracts, filings, and administrative issues, and share updates with HQ
Assist communication with local authorities and outsourced accounting, labor, and legal service providers
Qualifications (Required)
Experience in retail or brand operations in Japan
Business-level communication skills in both Korean and Japanese
Experience managing both offline stores and online stores
Understanding of both direct-operated stores and wholesale / retail partner structures
Interest in taking responsibility for market-level operations beyond basic store management
Comfortable handling both on-site operations and administrative tasks

単なる店舗管理にとどまらず、日本市場における運営実行を担う、実務中心の市場単位オペレーションポジションとして、日々の運営を推進します。
本ポジションは、韓国本社と日本現地の運営をつなぐ実務窓口としての役割を担います。フラッグシップストアの運営を基盤に、店舗管理、オンラインストア運営、現地の事務・管理業務、ならびに現地パートナーや外部協力会社とのコミュニケーションを担当します。
また、今後の日本国内における流通・販売チャネル拡大を見据え、運営基準やプロセスの整備に関わる役割も含まれます。現場での実行力と、日韓間の円滑なコミュニケーション能力の両方が求められるポジションです。
主な業務内容
日本国内 HAKA フラッグシップストアの運営
店舗運営管理(売上・在庫・スタッフ管理)
接客品質の管理および現場オペレーション上の課題対応
オンラインストアの運営
自社オンラインストアまたは外部ECプラットフォームの運営
売上データ分析およびプロモーションの企画・実行
韓国本社と日本現地間の実務連携
商品、スケジュール、運営に関する実務調整
韓国語・日本語を用いた報告およびコミュニケーション
日本市場における運営実行
現地消費者の反応および市場データの把握
オフライン・オンライン運営改善施策の提案および実行
現地パートナー・外部協力会社の管理
物流、店舗運営、マーケティング関連パートナーとの連携
スケジュールおよび日常的なコミュニケーション管理
フラッグシップストア関連の事務・管理業務
店舗運営に伴う基本的な事務業務および書類管理
日本国内の賃貸、税務、労務、各種許認可に関する実務サポート
契約・届出・行政対応に関する一次対応および本社への共有
行政機関、会計・労務・法務の外部委託先とのコミュニケーション補助
応募資格(必須)
日本国内におけるリテールまたはブランド運営の実務経験
韓国語・日本語での業務コミュニケーションが可能な方
オフライン店舗およびオンラインストア運営の両方を経験されている方
直営店舗および卸・販売店運営構造への理解がある方
単なる店舗管理ではなく、市場単位の運営に関わりたい方
現場運営と事務・管理業務の両方に柔軟に対応できる方
