Their proximity sensor is capable of advanced simultaneous measurement of distance and angle, and has evolved to the point where it can recognize both glass and mirrors.

Proximity is a way of perceiving objects that differs from both sight and touch, and is considered a "sense not found in humans" because it is perceived without seeing or touching the object. The proximity sensor enables recognition of the shape of objects, including blind spots, as well as mirrored and transparent materials, through a unique sensing technology that simultaneously measures the position and shape of the object. Combined with the company's proprietary high-speed, high-precision AI technology, it enables flexible pickup according to the job site, which was considered difficult with conventional industrial robots, and also facilitates reduction of teaching burden.

You will be responsible for AI development and improvement at their rapidly growing startup, a spin-off from Osaka University.

・Development and improvement of TK-01 edge AI

・Evaluation and testing

・Customer meetings related to development, etc.

【Core Requirements】

• Japanese language proficiency required: N3~N2 level

• Knowledge and experience in AI and firmware (edge AI development experience preferred)

• Experience implementing AI on hardware

• Experience in machine/robot control is highly welcome

【Conditions】

Employment Type: Permanent

Trial period: 3months

Estimated annual income: ¥5~12M

Work location : Nara, Japan

Working hours: Flextime system (core time : 10:00-16:00) (break time : 12:00-13:00) (standard working hours : 8 hours)

Holidays: 2 days a week (Saturdays and Sundays), national holidays
