We're seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and independent individual to join our CDD Onboarding team as a sole contributor reporting into Singapore's office.

The role involves dealing with customer data, collecting and reviewing documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in APAC.

You will handle operational work, develop strategies to optimize onboarding processes, collect KYC information, and perform checks on new merchants and platforms.

You will work closely with Account Managers, Sales Managers, Legal, Compliance, CDD, and KYC teams to contribute to process automation and related tasks.

We're looking for a native-level Japanese speaker with a minimum of 5 years of payments/technology/Fintech industry experience, underwriting experience, and great analytical skills.

The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can work independently, and is interested in problem-solving and process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect and review documents, and ensure merchants meet onboarding requirements in APAC
• Collaborate with teams on projects to improve customers' experience
• Handle operational work, develop strategies, and optimize onboarding processes
• Collect KYC information and perform checks on new merchants and platforms
• Provide internal support for audit, compliance, and reporting activities
• Contribute to process automation and related tasks
