Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Prompt Engineer, located in the Niigata Metropolitan Area. The Prompt Engineer will design, implement, and refine prompt strategies to enhance the use of machine learning models in various applications. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, optimizing prompt structures, and ensuring high levels of efficiency and accuracy in generative model outputs. The role will also involve testing, evaluating new approaches, and maintaining thorough documentation of methodologies used.
Qualifications
- Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and understanding the architecture of large language models
- Strong skills in programming and scripting languages such as Python and familiarity with development tools and environments
- Knowledge of optimizing and engineering prompts for AI/ML models to achieve precise and effective outcomes
- Proficiency in data analysis, model evaluation, and performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address complex challenges
- Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work on-site in the Niigata Metropolitan Area
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field is preferred
