Team Overview, Position Overview & Expectations
This position is a key member of technology development for products and services in the B to B to C business model. He/She has to work closely with Business members from Call Center and Supply Chain division and internal teams with IT. The related members belong to UX design teams, product analysts, development teams, data scientists to define requirements while having constant communication with the dev leads on feasibility and optimized solution. This position is an important position that contributes to the business development and evolving Japan Region.
Responsibility
◇ Define Business Requirement Document
For existing or new business, should be able to understand and anticipate the business needs and define those in form of user story document that will be used as base for system development. Communicate with development team and clarify the requirement details and play the role of facilitator. Collaborate with business and other stakeholder within the IT team for smother information sharing.
◇ Bridge with Business Team
As the system and requirement evolves, understand the actual and potential needs from client and should be point of contact from business in proposing solutions in discussion with the team at back end. Support planning and sales activities by proposing IT solution for new products and services with collaboration to product, sales, and business operations departments. Also facilitate backlog grooming by supporting development managers to define the scope and timeline.
◇ Support in Technical Solution Design
Participate in the review of solution design that meets the business requirement and influence the solution that prioritizes customer experience and share with relevant business members.
◇ Support the QA team Product/service ownership and priority management for business growth
With continuous improvement in mind, support the QA team in clarifying the requirements and review the test artifacts periodically and propose additional measures to improve quality.
Requirements And Skills
- Cross-functional system business analysis experience
- System development experience with Agile
- Basic knowledge of database query execution
- PC skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Japanese: Native level/English: Intermediate level
Preferred Skills
- Experience in user experience research
- Product/Service planning ability based on data analysis
- PM / PMO / PO experience in agile development based on KPIs
- Experience in creating user stories in English and collaborating with engineers
- Experience defining requirements related to machine learning
- Work experience at contact centers and logistic centers (business management)
- Work experience in mobile carriers, carrier shops, and after-sales support areas

Conditions
Type of contract: Permanent
Probationary period: 3 months
Working hours: 9:00-17:30(60mi break) with flextime, Teleworking
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, Public holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays
Annual paid leave: 20 days maximum (depending on the month of joining, years of service)

Compensation: Will be informed before the 1st interview
Salary revision: Once a year(revised to reflect the company and individual performance in March)
