CAD Specialist

The Opportunity:
Provide 3D Computer-Aided Design support for the full program, with an initial focus on the first phase of the project. Produce, update, and maintain technical design drawings, including site layouts, construction plans, and master plans using AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling tools. Maintain responsibility for 3D visualization, quantity take-offs, construction planning, and ensuring design accuracy across multiple projects. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure drawings meet program requirements and maintain consistent file management standards. Identify outdated or incomplete design files and implement updates as needed. Leverage strong attention to detail, proficiency with CAD software, and work collaboratively in a technical team environment. Support the overall engineering and design objectives of the program.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and 3D design
• Experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and technical drawing production
• Knowledge of construction plan development, master planning, and drawing standards
• Knowledge of 3D visualization, quantity take-offs, and construction planning
• Ability to maintain and update CAD files and ensure accuracy across multiple projects
• Ability to coordinate with engineering and design teams to meet project requirements
• Ability to identify outdated or incomplete design files and implement updates
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
• Experience supporting multi-phase construction or engineering programs
• Experience with design documentation standards and quality assurance processes
• Experience with DPRI programs or Japan-U.S. bilateral agreements

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
