Praesa Cloud Solutions Architect (SA) plays a key role in providing cloud security expertise to potential customers in Japan. Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Cloud product is an industry-leading cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) that provides security from code to cloud on any cloud. As a dedicated technical advisor, you will support sales activities to help customers understand the value of Prisma Cloud.

Your Impact

• Promote the benefits and unique differentiation factors of the Prisma Cloud platform to various stakeholders (security teams, DevOps, application developers, cloud infrastructure owners, GRC teams, CISOs, CTOs, or CIOs)
• Discuss industry trends and emerging changes in the security landscape for cloud-native deployments with confidence
• Discuss competing offerings in the market with confidence and position our proposals as the best alternative
• Lead and support customer demonstrations to prove the unique value of Prisma Cloud as early as possible in the sales lifecycle
• Support the introduction of the Prisma Cloud platform, a cloud security offering from Palo Alto Networks
• Serve as a voice on all technical aspects related to security and compliance in sales, including the deployment of cloud-native applications on-premises or public clouds (Alicloud, AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP)
• Act as an evangelist and trusted advisor to promote DevSecOps to customers
• Have the ability to write code or scripts, or learn how to do so when necessary
• Execute Proof-of-Value (POV) to achieve customers' requirements using the Prisma Cloud cloud-native security platform, realizing success aligned with their vision
• Communicate customers' feedback to product management, technical marketing, competitive information, and research and development, create customer requirements, and provide product features
• Build relationships with Born-in-Cloud (BiC) partners, which are essential when collaborating with transformative customers

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a system engineer, solution architect, or systems integrator
• Hands-on experience with IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager) and CI/CD tools (IDE, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI)
• Hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, GCP, other cloud providers), containers (Kubernetes preferred), and DevOps
• Background in security, with a preference for cloud security
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong Japanese communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with basic conversation skills in English
• Strong problem-solving ability, adaptability, and customer-centric mindset
