We are looking for a Resident Engineer who is working onsite at Japanese OEM. In this position, you will provide first-level support to OEM engineers and collaborate with our global development network to integrate products of our Cross-domain Computing Solutions Division (XC) at customer site. This is a very challenging role to be responsible for providing value to customers with high sincerity as a representative of Bosch in our customer facing team.
What you do:
Work with Japanese OEM engineers to evaluate products of Cross-domain Computing Solution Business Division Ex) Infotainment, Driver assistance products like Radar & Video etc.
Elicit requirements or expectations from Japanese OEM and share them with Bosch project team
Update, integrate and evaluate software and entire products in customer test environment and vehicles
Investigate integration issues, carry out root cause analysis and consider and follow up countermeasures together with engineers in our global development network
Improve and maintain competence, store and share know-how obtained via task execution or training and continuously expand our network and resident services to JOEM.
During the first couple of weeks you will have the opportunity to onboard in our new headquarter in Yokohama to introduce you to RBJP and to your project.
