Job Title: Senior Brand Manager, Innovation & Marketing Capability

About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic marketing leader to drive growth and capability development at Danone Japan. This dual-focus role requires you to identify significant business opportunities through deep consumer understanding while simultaneously leading the development of marketing organization capabilities. You will be responsible for end-to-end innovation projects and play a key role in strengthening our marketing team's skills and frameworks for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional innovation projects from opportunity identification through to market execution
  • Develop comprehensive growth strategies by analyzing local consumer needs, competitor landscape, and market dynamics
  • Build and implement smart execution plans with clear KPIs, adapting strategies as needed
  • Drive marketing excellence across all brand activities and consumer touchpoints
  • Develop and implement annual marketing capability development plans in partnership with the Marketing Director
  • Bridge global and regional portfolios with local market opportunities

What You'll Bring (Mandatory):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Proven track record in consumer goods marketing with product innovation experience
  • Strong experience in marketing activation and brand positioning with clear business accountability
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and growth models
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence peers
  • Excellent structured communication skills in both English and Japanese
  • Experience in talent development and problem-solving leadership

Preferred Skills:

  • Blended experience in traditional consumer goods marketing and digital marketing
  • Strong marketing framework thinking backed by data-driven analysis
  • Ability to identify emerging opportunities including technological trends
