Description
Nazareth Kindergarten is a certified kindergarten run by the school corporation Shion Gakuen. We incorporate unique educational content such as playing in Mountains(satoyama) where you can fully experience the rich nature, A fun theme where each kid can work on their interests, Noh play (Nōgaku, Five musicians), and tea culture experiencing the beauty of Japanese culture, and grape picking in Yamanashi prefecture where parents and children can share fun memories together.
The number of children is about 200.
We have a "general course" in which Japanese teachers provide childcare to 3- to 5-year-old classes. And we also have a "bilingual course" where native English teachers and Japanese teachers pair up to provide childcare in English. Our bilingual course is not an international school, nor is it like a cram school or classroom where you study English.
But more so like an opportunity to experience a living English education through the beautiful culture and manners of Japan.

ナザレ幼稚園は学校法人四恩学園が運営する幼稚園型認定こども園です。豊かな自然を存分に体感できる里山での山遊びや、一人ひとりが興味や関心を持ったことに取り組めるコーナー保育、日本の文化の美しさを体感できる仕舞(能楽、五人囃子)やお茶の作法などの文化体験、自然の恵みを親子で一緒に分かち合う山梨県でのブドウ狩りなど、ユニークな教育内容を取り入れています。
園児数は約200名ほどで、3歳児~5歳児クラスは日本人教諭が通常保育を行う「一般コース」と、外国人講師と日本人教諭がペアを組み、英語で保育を行う「バイリンガル・コース」があります。当園のバイリンガル・コースは、インターナショナルスクールではなく、英語を勉強させるという塾や教室のようなスタンスでもなく、日本の幼児教育を英語で行うというスタンスをとっています。日本の美しい文化や作法もしっかり習得した上での、生きた英語教育を受けることができるというのが、バイリンガル・コースの特色です。
