Job Title: Motion Designer
Location: Remote, United States

Duration: Contract starting ASAP through end of June 2026

Role Overview
We are seeking a talented contract motion designer to join our Experience Design (XD) team. The XD team shapes engaging product experiences and brings innovative ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling.

In this role, you will develop, design, and execute a wide range of motion design projects—from initial concepts and visualization through post-production. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team on customer-facing product launches, announcements, and events. The work is fast-paced, varied, and creatively challenging, spanning sleek 2D animations to cinematic 3D product storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Concepting and developing motion design ideas for product storytelling and marketing initiatives.
• Visualizing and creating compelling graphics, animation, and visual narratives.
• Editing and refining motion content to ensure high-quality, on-brand output.
• Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to pitch creative ideas and deliver impactful motion solutions.
• Collaborate with principal designers, business stakeholders and cross-functional partners to bring stories and concepts to life.
• Conceptualize, create storyboards, design and animation, using different styles and approaches for deliverables as needed.
• Develop well-conceived creative work that implements the business and product strategy.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in graphic design, motion graphics, interaction design, art, film, broadcast, audio, media production, or related
• At least 6-8 years experience in a design-led company, advertising agency or in-house creative environment.
• Expert knowledge of visual storytelling through motion.
• Demonstrable fluency with Adobe CC suite of products including After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with Figma.
• Great sense of composition, timing and rhythm.
• Experience in 3D a plus in software such as Cinema 4D/ Maya.
• Knowledge of editing software like Final Cut Pro or Premiere.
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction.
