■職務内容 / Job Description(Roles & Responsibilities)

PlayStationの開発環境に関わるソフトウェア開発マネジャーのポジションです。

C/C++を主に使用し、ハードウェアやOSといった低レイヤに密接に依存・連携する開発を手掛けています。

主には、下記の機能開発を担当していただく想定です。

PlayStationのクラッシュレポート機能に関係するソフトウェア開発
上記の開発に関連したテストの開発・チーム内インフラ整備

■組織・職場紹介 / About Team And Organization

PlayStationのシステムソフトウェアのOSレイヤや開発環境パートを開発している部署です。

PlayStationのシステムソフトウェアには、

‐実際にPlayStation上で動作するシステムソフトウェアの機能 (PlayStationのユーザ向けの機能)

‐PlayStation上で動作するゲームやアプリを開発するための機能 (ゲームディベロッパ・アプリディベロッパ向けの機能)

という二つの側面があります。いずれの面においても直接的・間接的にエンドユーザに届くソフトウェア機能を開発する、取り組みがいのある業務です。

当部署では高速ストレージアクセス用コプロセッサの周辺機能、および社内外向けの開発環境に関連したソフトウェア開発を10名強で行なっています。

■求められるスキル・技術領域 / Skills And Qualifications

【必須(MUST)】

チームでのソフトウェア開発経験に加え、

以下のいずれか、もしくは関連する周辺技術一点以上の開発経験が必須です。

FreeBSD, Linux 等の UNIX 系オペレーティングシステム開発
デバッガ・ソフトウェア開発支援ツール、クラッシュレポート等の開発環境関連の機能開発
開発チームのマネジメント経験

【尚可(WANT)】

サーバー開発や運用などの知識をお持ちの方
ファイルシステムやデバイスドライバ開発経験
自チーム以外にも海外を含む多くのチームで開発を行うため、コミュニケーション能力の高い方

■語学力 / Language Skills

【英語】

・英語で技術的なやりとりができる能力 (TOEIC 650以上目安)。

海外チームとのやりとりや英文の技術仕様の読解が日常的に行なわれるため、

担当領域に関して英語でコミュニケーションできることが必須です。

【日本語】

・ビジネスレベルの日本語力(日本語能力試験N1またはそれと同等以上)
