Get to know the role:

The VP of Strategy and Project Management plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization's strategic vision. This position involves project planning, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting senior executives in formulating and implementing business strategies. The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and ensure successful execution of cross-functional projects by setting and tracking key milestones and budgets.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to shape the company's direction by formulating and driving business strategies.
  • Help cross-functional teams resolve issues with data-driven insights and practical guidance.
  • Create short-term and long-term performance goals, aligning them with strategic objectives in close coordination with department heads.
  • Partner with leadership to effectively convey organizational goals to internal and external stakeholders, promoting understanding and support.
  • Regularly assess and update the corporate strategy to stay in line with management expectations, industry trends, and changing needs.

Requirements

  • 4 - 8 years of experience at top tier strategy, management consultancy, or investment banking firm
  • Strong academic track record
  • Strong background in strategic thinking, analytics & demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • Experience with hands-on engagement, strong interpersonal / influencing skills
  • Convincing executive presence, solid spoken and written communication skills including executive level communication / slides
  • Able to work independently and in teams
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude, rolling up your sleeves and being adaptable and flexible - grit is a characteristic well-valued
  • Highly comfortable and able to context switch and perform in a semi-structured, dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo
  • Highly organized
  • Highly proficient excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
