  • Assisting in post-demerger tasks
  • Manage finance administrative matters.
  • Manage daily accounting matters such as review manual Journals prepared and account reconciliation prepared and submitted by BBS.
  • Support the accounting operations in BBS KL
  • Play active role in driving automation initiatives and process improvements in country and support initiatives by BBS
  • Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet & P&L Flux analysis.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
  • Respond to queries from local country business and others cross functional team in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls
  • Lead internal audit and external audit requirement.
  • Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with country stakeholders and various global stakeholders including BBS.
  • Maintain focus on continuous process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Japan consumption tax filing, Fixed asset tax, business office tax.
  • Support preparing corporate tax filing and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in setting up the proper process to meet the requirement for the new JP invoice system.
  • Qualifications: ​
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills (preferrable FP&A skills and experiences)
  • Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and "can do" mind-set
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Japanese and English
  • Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
