need for Pipe Mill Surveillance Inspectors in the Osaka, Japan area. Join our 31 year old company as part of a team assuring the highest quality standards are maintained for our Clients. Multiple positions are available for long term projects. Personnel must reside within commuting distance of Amagasaki, Japan.

Inspection personnel must possess the following experience and/or qualifications/certifications:

• Ability to interpret and communicate in English language technical materials
• B.S. degree in a technical field from a recognized institution or 10 years of quality related experience.
• Five years experience in pipe mill surveillance inspection of Carbon and CRA Oil Country Tubular Goods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a working knowledge of international quality management system standards such as API Spec Q1.
• Knowledgeable and experienced interpreting API 5CRA, 5CT and referenced ASTM and NACE standards
• Possess NDT Level II certification and qualification to the requirements of ASNT – TC-1A STD , ASNT SNT-CP-189 or equivalent certification UT, MT, PT, VT, etc. Previous certification may be considered where records can be provided.
• Witness, surveillance and review of CONTRACTOR activities and documentation in support of COMPANY objectives
• Additional requirements exist and will be provided
