Financial Analyst

In our Operations Finance sector, we handle budget planning, cost accounting management, and performance analysis at the factory. To become a trailblazer in the semiconductor industry using cutting-edge technology amidst rapid changes, efficient and rapid budget planning operation is essential, along with performance analysis based on the budget, and providing feedback to the actual operations section. There are also opportunities for regular reporting and communication with Micron's overseas locations (USA, Singapore, Taiwan). We are currently hiring a Financial Analyst at our Hiroshima factory.

Responsibilities

- Quarterly budget planning.

- Monthly performance analysis (vs. previous month and budget) and feedback to each department.

- Support from an accounting perspective for the respective departments.

Experience, future career plans, etc. will be considered for the following areas:

  • Collaborating with various departments for budget planning, performance management, and cost forecasting
  • Planning equipment investments and depreciation, along with performance analysis
  • Analyzing the impact of production plans and performance on costs
  • Budget planning and performance management for research and development expenses

Qualifications

Required

- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or practical accounting experience (recent grads welcome)

- Strong Japanese language communication skills

Nice to have

- Intermediate level of English proficiency

- Past experience at consulting firms, accounting firms, or as a certified public accountant

- Second-level bookkeeping certification

- Educational background from technical colleges, universities, or graduate schools
