Department Overview
In order to provide high-quality mobile communications services at reasonable prices, Rakuten Mobile will launch full-fledged services in April 2020 as the fourth MNO (mobile network operator) to be approved in Japan for the first time in 13 years. It has started. In November 2023, our MNO will exceed 5.5 million lines and is rapidly growing. In addition, we will begin providing full-scale services to corporations in January 2023, and are making large-scale investments as a core business that will support the future growth of the Rakuten Group, which is attracting a lot of attention both inside and outside the company.

Position Details
The role of a director within the marketing group is to create and manage content for the mobile corporation's web pages.
You cannot conduct marketing activities without web pages, and web pages that users directly interact with are the most important customer communication tools. The Director takes the initiative to ensure that the production project runs smoothly, performs operations to ensure quality control, and contributes to achieving the goals of the team.
We create mobile services for corporations through market research, strategy planning, service planning, product planning, communication system development, and supply chain construction.
We manage the entire process of delivering these services, which we devised ourselves, to our customers through marketing, advertising, sales strategy planning and sales promotion, sales channel construction, etc.
Responsible for managing the planning and production of Rakuten Mobile's corporate HP LP (campaign page), banners, e-mail newsletters, etc.
This is a position that leads and manages the team, from data analysis to progress management and quality assurance of produced products.
Specific duties
- Overall progress management and schedule adjustment
- Create requirements definition, page structure & specifications
- Create WBS
- Product quality assurance (confirmation of requirements, design defects, text information, operation verification, etc.)
- Renewal of existing site
- Website analysis, problem extraction from data analysis, improvement proposals, PDCA execution, KPI setting
(Site setting & release work, effect measurement after implementing measures)
- Management of a team of about 10 people (determining team policy, training/evaluation, 1on1 interviews)
Required thinking and abilities
- As the person responsible for the project, you will be responsible for making accurate and speedy decisions in all aspects of the project.
- Release projects at the right time and right target according to business impact while controlling and understanding members' schedules and operations.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- WEB director (web/smartphone app) work experience of 5 years or more
- Organizational team building/management for 3 or more people 3 years or more
- Analysis tools: Google Analytics practical experience
- Project leader experience
