We are looking for the Head of Finance & Controlling for our Engineering Center in Yokohama, overseen and govern all Financial Processes. This includes Accounting & Controlling Activities but also the supervision of IT / Digitalization.

What you can look forward as Finance Manager:

  • Lead and Govern all Finance & Controlling Processes for our Engineering Center in Yokohama in alignment with Corporate Finance & Controlling Policies
  • Oversee and Govern all Accounting Transactions including AP, AR, Cash, P&L & BS
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, etc)
  • Prepare meaningful monthly and quarterly management reporting
  • Coordinate and lead Financial Budgeting processes
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior management
  • Governance of the company's accounting, controlling & reporting systems & Tools
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, support audits
  • Represent Regional Domain Controlling for Region of Japan including Functional Controlling for R&D and SG&A.
  • Supervise IT functions and drive Digitalization within the company across all functions

Your profile as Finance Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (both oral and written)
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
