We are looking for an Osaka/Kansai based Sr Financial Analyst for the Fulfillment Center/External Fulfillment (FC/EF) operations team who will be given significant responsibility from the start to drive both business and financial decisions.

Financial Analysts are expected to evaluate and quantify new business ideas, execute controllership and reporting for their businesses, and perform data-intensive analyses, all to drive meaningful change and improvement to the way we serve our customers.

This is a perfect position for someone who works fast and smart. You are a brilliant observer and things that just don't look right catch your attention. You enjoy working with different people and are a strong communicator.

Your experience has taught you how to avoid sticky predicaments, and you are good about avoiding the mess, sooner rather than later.

The role will be based at our Osaka headquarters with occasional travel to locations across Fulfilment Centers (FC) in Kansai region.

Business you will be responsible for:

Fulfillment Center(FC) Key job responsibilities You will be partnering with the business team to evaluate the best financial structure for new external fulfillment sites, monitor performance of existing sites, and be a right-hand person to the senior leaders of External Fulfillment operations.

Your role will also encompass financial planning, ROI analysis, economic evaluation of new businesses, and reporting of financial results.

A day in the life On any given day you may be building a financial model for our annual operating plan, performing month end close, or helping the business team develop the best cost structure for new sites.

There is always something new and exciting going on.

About the team FC Finance is a team of 21 finance professionals covering 20 fulfillment centers and 90 External Fulfillment centers across Japan.

Our members come from all walks of life, backgrounds, nationalities, and genders.

What we have in common is that we are strong with numbers, have good business instincts, and innovate on behalf of our customers.

BA/BS degree 3 years working experience in positions that require financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and data interpretation of results Business level of both Japanese and English language skill (reading, writing, speaking) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information in an effective way Proven ability to solve complex problems using data and metrics.

Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners. Superb attention to details and organizational skills
