Description


DUCK International School is an established, local company that teaches English to children through song, dance, and fun activities, and we want you to invigorate our students and help us flourish We seek English teachers for group lessons aimed at a variety of ages and levels, with a focus on Preschool and Elementary Students.

DUCK is conveniently located just outside Tokyo, with easy access to both the Tokyo Metro area and Narita Airport. Several train lines run though the area. This allows for a lower cost of living while being able to access all the services of the city and surrounding municipalities, such as Funabashi, Matsudo, and Kashiwa.

We have three locations. All locations are within 300m from their respective train stations.

(1) Shin-Kamagaya, Kamagaya City, Chiba

(Shin-Kamagaya Station, Hokkuso, Shin-Keisei, & Tobu Urban Park Lines)

(2) Horigome, Shiroi City, Chiba

(Shiroi Station, Hokkuso Line)

(3) Chiba New Town, Chiba

(Chiba New Town Chuo Station, Hokkuso Line)

Working conditions:

Salary range: ¥250,000 ~ ¥270,000*

5 days / 40 hours per week (shifts to be determined by company).

Part-time evening and Saturday shifts may be available. Please inquire within.

Holidays:

2 consecutive days off per week.

5 set paid holidays and 5 additional paid holidays will be granted in accordance with company policy after an initial 6-month period.

Total of 242 working days per year (123 non-working days).

Requirements:

1. Native English speaker.

2. A mature, professional work ethic.

3. Enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility.

4. Ability to learn and perform songs and dances to a standardized level.

5. Understanding and acceptance of cultural differences.

6. Ability to work alongside Japanese staff.

7. Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays.

Preference will be given to candidates who currently possess a visa which allows for full-time work in our field.
