We are looking for a
full-time Software Engineer.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing software for JRCS. The role is located in
Shimonoseki or Tokyo
, with flexibility for some remote work (hybrid model).

JRCS is a manufacturer in the marine business and building hardware components such as power and instrumentation systems for vessels. We are also providing digital solutions for the maritime industry including navigation support and digital systems supporting everyday operations in the engine room.

Role Description
- Design and development of JRCS products using programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Javascript, Python etc.
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Debugging of software to resolve issues in the software.
- Creation and updating of documentation.
- Hand-over of source code of software, customization and maintenance methods to the team that will operate the system.
- Fix and deploy bugs and claims reported on production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in developing full-stack, scalable applications using C++, C# .Net, Typescript, NodeJS,
- React, Angular, Unity and other programming languages, frameworks or libraries.
- Expertise in Functional Design, Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

- C、C++、C#、Javascript、Pythonなどのプログラミング言語を用いたJRCS製品の設計・開発。
- クリーンで高品質、高性能、かつ保守性の高いコードの作成。
- ソフトウェアのデバッグを行い、ソフトウェアの問題を解決。
- ドキュメントの作成・更新。
- ソフトウェアのソースコード、カスタマイズ、保守方法をシステム運用チームに引き渡す。
- 本番環境で報告されたバグやクレームを修正し、展開する。
資格要件
- コンピュータサイエンス(または関連分野)の学士号
- 関連業務経験2年以上
- C++、C#、.NET、Typescript、NodeJS、React、Angular, Unityなどのプログラミング言語、フレームワーク、ライブラリを用いたフルスタックでスケーラブルなアプリケーション開発に精通していること。
- 機能設計、オブジェクト指向設計、データベース設計、XMLスキーマに関する専門知識
- アジャイルまたはスクラムソフトウェア開発手法の経験
